Before I subscribed to DTV I told them that I was retired, and couldn't pay much over the original $29.99. DTV decided otherwise, they raised prices by 35% over a six year period. I didn't read the fine print when the decision was made to DISCONNECT. DTV severed my service but warned me that I would be charged (To my credit card), for the severance + for keeping the "box". So, DTV sent me a carton to retrurn their "box" in. Meanwhile, I receive an E-Mail telling me that I could receive for $29.99, a really nice TV package with extra premium channels. It was a scam, I received a bill for $54.00. I sent them a check for $29.99, and owe approx. $23.00.

Update: 10/15/2013

DTV sent me an e-mail offering a $29.95 program with a few whistles, then RENEGED.
