I found an offer on Craigslist for Final Four tickets. I suggested my interest and the seller and I moved to email instead of craigslist email. Her reply to email was craigslist 3717208552 <[email protected]>. She suggested that she was going to use ebay buyer protection to protect both of us. I received an email from eBay Buyer Protection with instructions of how to pay:
Go to a major retailers such as Walmart, Walgreens, CVS/pharmacy, Rite Aid, Kmart, Kroger and Meijer
Buy 2 x $400 MoneyPak code.(MP code should have 14 digits)
Fax +1-206-339-1854 and email us at [email protected] the MoneyPak#.
When I went back to look again, the email came from: [email protected]; on behalf of; eBay Buyer Protection <[email protected]>
Once my payment was received, the seller would be notified to send me the items. She mentioned that she would send them over flashseats - transfer them electronically. The seller's address in the invoice was listed as: 421 23rd Ave N Fargo ND 58102 United States.
Once my payment was received, she
emailed that she would send the items and never did. When I followed up, she said that she was in the hospital - nothing major - and would send them in the morning. I checked back in this morning and did not receive anything and she is now unresponsive.
I googled her name and address and came up with results on scambook.
