Hello. I am unsure to whom this should be directed to. I have been receiving the run-around, and almost decided to give up. I decided to further pursue the matter because I honestly feel like I deserve some compensation. My name is LaTanya (Personal Information Removed) . I am a kindergarten teacher by day and a student of Concordia University by night. My free time is non-existent due to my work and school schedule. Let me get to the heart of the matter. I went to Sam's Club on 1.26.13 to purchase a set of new tires. My total purchase came to 674.16. I left the store and continued home. I noticed that my tire pressure was low I checked my readings on my car and it showed a decrease in pressure on the LF tire. I also checked with OnStar to see if indeed everything was accurate. OnStar showed a decrease in pressure and suggested that I add some air. The tire to the naked eye appeared fine, however, my indicators showed differently. The next morning, my check tire light and a light like parentheses came on. I went to work and my principal checked my tire pressure. He said that everything showed it was okay so just ignore the indicators. To me, the indicators are there for a reason, so I called in to Sam's Club. I was asked if I added air and I replied that if I just purchased tires a day ago, why should I need to add air to new tires. I went back and forth physically from Sam's, work, Concordia, for at least 2-3 days. I went into to my local Walmart to get an oil change. I asked if they'd check my tire pressure. They said that my tires were fine but when I got my tires, my monitor stem was broken. I had no idea of what that was. He said that it happened when my tires was done. Then he said to go back to where I got the tires done. I told him that would be Sams Club. He had a crazy look on his face then. He took off the broken stem so my reading would clear and I could go and get a new/replacement stem. I am getting the it wasn't my people from Sams and I have evidence from OnStar and know that not even 24hours after having new tires, my indicator light and readings are going off. Now, I am having problems with locating this part. I've found that it is a dealership only part and it costs 70.00+ dollars for the part and 135.00 for labor. I am just finding time to try and get all of this cleared up but am now disgusted that I paid almost 700 for tires and now may have to come out of my pocket for another 200+ to fix something that Sams Club did when putting on my new tires. I am paying for tuition and other bills. The tires were a chunk of money and now this!! I don't have money to pay for someone else's error. During one of my trips back and forth to Sams, not once did I get an apology , only defensive it wasn't my people remarks. Now, I am just out of money and maybe more money to get a new sensor and pay for labor!!! Not a happy customer!!!
