Stupidly got taken in by person on phone who even though I kept questioning her about not wanting to give any details out over phone, kept reassuring me was from my broadband supplier and was not selling me anything but dealing with some broadband issues, which co-incidentally we had been having recently. Was put through to the technical person who gained access to my computer. I then said "Are you sure this is not about selling me something", and when they said it was, I started to say that I felt I had been conned and he hung up on me. Be warned, do not let anybody get access into your computer unless it is something you have requested for a particular reason. I'm not usually that gullible but she really persuaded me that it was all legit.
