I clicked on the link below the Linked In signoff page. I got a call from an English speaking lady.
She offered membership packages of differing values:
USD849 - Platinum lifetime membership
USD6xx - Gold (5 years)
USD99 - 1 year trial

Membership includes being in the latest WHo's WHo for networking, etc, website setup own domain name, etc

The funny thing was they insist on membership payment on the spot over the phone. They do not send invoice or materials over email for you to respond to.

They managed to get me to sign up for a year trial for USD118. I was uncomfortable the moment they insist on immediate payment via credit card over the phone. They sold the prestige and the benefits very well.

After hanging up the phone, I checked Google and found this site. I cancelled my credit card immediately.

Hopefully Scambook can expose this company/group before more people got hooked.
