This person contacted me via e-mail wanting to purchase Arbonne products. I am a consultant, so I answered her request. She ordered $600.00 in products. She sent a cashiers check and told me when it cleared, to go ahead and process the order. The cashier check was made out to me in the amount of $2,220.50. She claimed her boss had made a mistake and paid me the entire amount that was owed to her. I deposited the check and thought it had cleared, so I ordered her products and gave her a cashiers check for the difference, which was 1,680.00. The next time I checked my bank account the initial cashier check had been returned and needless to say, I fell victim to her scam.
