I got involved with an on line work at home scheme. The company was called Global Marketing. I sent for and received for $9.95 a packet describing the company. After a rather lengthy phone conversation with them I decided I did not want to get involved. It looked like nothing more than a pyramid sales scheme. There was never any mention of Vemma. Within hours of our phone conversation I called them back and told them I was not interested in getting involved with their company. I was told this was no problem. To my surprise several days later Fed-X left a box on my doorstep. Upon opening the box I found it contained some nutrition drinks. There was also an invoice which showed I had paid by my credit @333. and some cents for this merchandise. It also indicated that Global Marketing had placed the order in my name. I did not give Global Marketing permission to charge anything but the $9.95 to my credit card. I also did not order any merchandise. I immediately closed the box. Since I did not order this merchandise I called Vemma and was given permission to return the merchandise and told that upon its return the invoice amount would be removed from my credit card. I returned the merchandise to Vemma at a cost of over $30 Which I paid. Vemma received this merchandise one week ago and to date I have not been given credit for the return on my credit card. I have cancelled this card so as to insure that no further charges can be made but would like for Vemma to credit my card for the $333.00 and the cost of returning the merchandise. This is nothing more than a pyramid sales scheme and someone needs to investigate both of these companies.
