I bought an Asus laptop and 4 months later it was crashing. I brought it back for reimbursement only to be told that I wouldn't be getting one b/c the 14-day return window had expired. I sent it off to be "repaired" and although the entire hard drive had to be "overhauled" b/c of defects, they STILL wouldn't reimburse me for the unit. It was defective from the start; I had no porn, movies, or games on the laptop that might have damaged it. It was just defective, but Best Buy refused to honor their mistake by giving me my money back. Now I'm stuck with an "overhauled" laptop that I don't want and no option of getting my money back. The manager at Best Buy said to take it up with Asus, but isn't that Best Buy's responsibility? After all, I gave Best Buy my money and trusted them to sell me a functional product. He also told me that if Best Buy had to reimburse every customer for defective units, they would go bankrupt! GOOD TO KNOW!
