We received a notice on our door that "first attempt to contact us for a package" yesterday. It left two numbers, (214)306-9780 and (817)259-0281 and upon calling those numbers, you are left on hold for several minutes, and given a recording. There are no records of this company, and want to make it known that they are trying to scam people. I am not sure if they are charging our phone for the time that we called, or if they are just casing out our neighborhood and breaking into houses when the owners aren't home. http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-512-262-9918 is a website where this company is doing this to new homeowners all over the country. Can we get this to stop?

  • I just received the 2nd notice on my door in Schertz, TX. 'Sorry we missed you' doesn't fly with me. I am a telecommuter and I have 3 dogs that bark like crazy when they hear the front door. Not sure what Eclipse Distribution wants, but I'm not calling them. Period.

  • I saw that the guy didn't even knock when he dropped off the "sorry we missed you" note ... still, I thought I'd missed a package delivery (with just a lazy delivery guy), since my name was on the slip. I called a few times, as the confirmation number they gave me was "invalid." When I finally got a person, they asked me for my email and other information so they could "welcome me to the neighborhood" and "send me a gift card." As we don't have a HOA, I hung up and looked up the company, only to confirm my suspicions that they don't exist. Don't give them any info!
