I filled in my detatils for this10 day free trial on the 22/8/2011 at 10.52pm. On the next day my bank phoned me telling me that Perfect Skin had taken 0.95p and £2.72p on the 22/8/2011 and wanted to know if that was ok. I told I didn’t know why you had taken this money out as it was supposed to be a free trial. You told me that it was usual. I didn’t understand what this meant, I asked for and explenation, I was told it was for postage. I phoned you after 5 days as I hadn’t received anything and I was told it was in the post. On 1/9/2011 my bank again phoned me on 2/9/2011 saying that you had taken money out of my account the amount £74.95. I phoned you and I was told it was because I hadn’t contacted you to cancel my trial. I told you that I had just received the items that day which was 11 days after ordereing. You told me “YOUR TRIAL STARTS THE DAY YOU PLACE THE ORDER” It does state this in the information. They said THE DELAY WAS DUE TO CUSTOMS. I told them there were no customs involved as the items had come from your P.O. Box address in Linlithgow which is only 1hour 30mins away from where I live. Your reply was BECAUSE YOU DID NOT CONTACT US BEFORE THE END OF THE TRIAL WE ARE ENTITLED TO TAKE THE MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT. I said “I didn’t receive the items until the 11th day, how can I take part in the trial if I didn’t receive it until after the trial was finished.. You told me that you wern’t responsible for the postal service. I told you that if I had been told the items were only 1/12 hours drive away from me I would have gone through and picked them up. At this your representative said your not lisening to me. You told me you wouldn’t refund the money as I was outwith the trial period. I told you to cancel and further items that you might send to me. I was told YOUR DETAILS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS OF TODAY. That was on 2/9/2011. I have just returned from holiday to find that you have taken a further £47.15 out of my account on 27/9/2011. I am going telephone you again to try and find out what this amount was for.
