I almost fell for same scam listed here previously. In prior posts it was an Eric Thompson at 818-945-1425 that was running the scam. In mine, it was a James Harris at 818-945-2993. They claim to be with Cash Advance America and even send loan document via email with real logo on it. They claim they need you to buy a Vanilla voucher and load 10% of the loan on it to verify that you have that much to cover the loan. They didn't scam me because I know the law. I know that all they have to do is get you on the telephone with your bank to verify the balance in your bank account. Do not fall for this scam!!!!! I verified that James Harris is working with Eric Thompson and another guy named Peters. It's an boiler room full of Indian guys running this thing from phone numbers that track back to California, but likely they are located back in India or some other location. If you are scammed by these folks, contact the local Sherrif's dept, the state attorney general, the FBI, and the Federal Trade Commission. These guys need to be stopped NOW!!!
