Young man came to my residence-selling magazines for points to earn a trip and to help "stay on the right path", told story of abusive mother and how wanted to be a better person. Sold a magazine subscription at normal price plus fees and never has a magazine arrived. I did get a call from some"quality control" survey in the first week, and nothing ever since. Receipt is a standard buy at Sam's club receipt with no contact information.
Don't be taken in by their sad tale, it's just a tale!
