I'd started a process of refinancing my home loan with Mario since he promised great rates. We signed the documents a day before we were supposed to go for a vacation.

While we were on vacation we expected that the refinance would be completed and that the new loan would kick in. When we came back we got to know from Wellsfargo that someone had cancelled the refi and that we were 1 month late on our payment of the monthly mortgage.

Mario kept on saying that he would fix this and that we would pay us back for the appraisal fees (we had to do an appraisal 2 times due to Mario's goof ups).

I was told that the check was in the mail and that was repeated 3-4 times. Then he just disappeared, no responses to emails, didnt pick up the phone.

I get an email 1 day saying he was out of the country since he moved to Canada and that he would pay back the appraisal fees.

He even tried doing a paypal, which didnt get funded, he said he would wire the funds but that never happened. All in all I know Mario is a cheat and a scammer. He just wants to scam people out of money and promises things he can never deliver.

Looks like he has started scamming people through new company Mile High Mortgage. I would suggest people stay away from him and not do any business with him.

I'm also in the process of posting such complaints everywhere else so that I can ensure more people read about him.
