International boundaries

Cold call from PCFixCare to my father claiming his system was infected. Persuaded him to give them access to install AMMYY ADMIN software in order to access his PC remotely. He had to cut the call short so they didn't get round to asking for money but we have yet to see what damage they did once they had access. Computer is currently disconnected from the net and awaiting scans to clean it up of any malware, spyware etc.
