Don't let these guys into your home. They are scammers. They come to scope your house and steal from you. Stay away! They are a total rip off!

I called these people based on a coupon for $19 to clean vents. I have allergies. Recently the water trap got clogged in the coils and I feared mold may be building up, so also wanted that checked.

They showed up (late) at my house. They didn't even want to look at the vents. They started talking about mold. They went to the air handler and opened the coils.

Immediately they told me I had "black mold" the "worst kind" and it was spread all over the ducts. The ducts had to be replaced. They stated that my health was at risk. They needed to start immediately doing work.
It will cost a $1,000. I would have to leave my house for a full day.

One guy was eastern Euro (maybe Russian) and was very pushy: "I have to do it today. I won't come back. In 2 weeks your house will be covered in mold and you'll be in the hospital and I won't touch these ducts".

He kept walking all over my house and looking at everything, but the vents. Not once he looked up. At that point I felt uneasy.

He went on to push on me his UV light for another $1,000. Saying that it's not like other UV lights: "The bulb must be replaced every 6 months, and costs $200. We guarantee it for 5 years. You save money buying ours". (Yeah, right. I did my homework ahead of time; the bulbs last 30,000 hours!)

Lastly, this guy would talk to me, but not move from near my desk. No matter how I asked him to come see a vent, he wouldn't move.
When I went to him, he asked suspicious.

I found out, he was looking through my paperwork. I had my home re-financing letter sitting on the desk. He has managed to open it.
My mail stack was a mess (I am tidy, so that was easy to catch). Later on, I checked and some mail was missing.

I asked for their names and card and an estimate. They didn't give me any. I called the company and they also gave me the run around.

I threw him out and his accomplice - who keeps trying to distract you.

DON'T LET THESE GUYS INTO YOUR HOUSE!
