My name is Walter Virgil and Direct TV took an unauthorized credit card charge from my account. The story begins when I decided to help my daughter to get Direct TV and we called and explained to Direct TV that I was helping my daughter this one time and she would continue to pay from her charge card. My daughter then had two cards on her account that Direct TV was taking the money out of on a monthly basis. My daughter then decided she didn't want Direct TV anymore and so she cancelled the service. When she cancelled her service they took the money out of my account which I am not even a Direct TV customer. Since my card was on file Direct TV charged my credit card which was not authorized. They did not contact me they just took the money out of my account. On September I was going somewhere and tried to use my card I found out they took what was in my account. I called September 14th 2011 and spoke to several different people and they said they would refund the money within 10 to 15 days. Ten to Fifteen days passed and no money refunded. I then called the next several days and spoke to several people and there were several different stories. I called on 10/14/11 and spoke to several more people and one of the supervisors hang up on me, which is very unprofessional of a big company. I then called back on 10/14/11 and spoke to another supervisor and they stated that they needed the equipment in order to refund the money and they said they received it on 10/11/11, but if that was the case they should have said that from the very beginning when I spoke to them on 9/14/11. When I spoke to Isreal one of the many supervisors I spoke to, I asked to speak to someone above him and he stated that his supervisor doesn't accept calls. I just can't believe the service that I received and I am not even a customer of Direct TV. If they can treat me like that I can imagine how they treat their customers. I would like someone to check into Direct TV's policies, because I don't think anywhere they can just go into someones account unauthorized without my consent. I am just one person and I know they have done this to several other people which is unfair. This is a big corporation and they are making money hand over fist and I am a struggling man looking for my $365 dollars and I still don't have my money.
