On September 30, 2011 I was contacted by a buyer and his finance company, Intercoastal Financial wanting to purchase my timeshare in Florida. Intercoastal prepared a sales agreement and both I and the buyer signed it. According to the Sales Contract and Agreement, the Buyers put down 5% of the purchase price and $480 and I put down the additional $480 on the closing costs, with the understanding that if the Sellers cancelled or this deal did not close I would be refunded my money. I was assured in writing and over the phone several times that this closing would take place within 5-10 business days. I have a copy of the sales agreement and copies of receipts (supposedly). After posting my money on a moneycard I have not been able to reach anyone at Intercoastal or the original buyers. Both the buyers and Intercoastal have voice mail set up and their phone calls now go straight to voice mail. Intercoastal Financial is located at 8185 Ocean Highway West, Sunset Beach, NC 28464; 910-887-9229. I paid $480 on this contract as a courtesy to sell this timeshare.
