I was refinancing a home and paid $450 for an appraisal. The appraisal was performed but we never saw the results. I received an email stating that the company was going out of business - the week our refi was supposed to be finalized. I was informed that a refund for the appraisal was requested, and to contact J. Fox to find out when we would receive the refund. J. Fox never responded & we never received the refund. J. Fox's voicemail is full & goes into a loop.
