My roommate and I needed a place to stay in miami for our 6 week clinical rotation. We came across a legitimate looking website and send an inquiry. A Mr. Tom James replied with all the information. He very quickly became pushy about receiving the deposit, calling and emailing multiple times a day. Once the deposit was submitted suddenly Emma Lunar had changed her mind and decided that her son was in need of the remaining amount of BEFORE I even stepped foot in miami. This is illegal and unethical because I signed a lease agreement clearly stating that the full amount was due the day we picked up the keys. Mr. James threatened to cancel my reservation numerous times because I refused to give him any more money three days before I am set to go to miami. I offered to let him overnight me the keys and then I could give him the money but he was insistent on me taking all the risks and continued to threaten me if I didn't pay him ASAP.
