I was victim to a scam. I accepted 2 postal money orders that are issued at the United States post offices. So thinking they were valid having been money orders I deposited them into my bank for withdrawal to complete my first assignment of being a secret shopper. Seeing as I'm a great employee and do all my jobs to the absolute best of my ability. I checked my account to see if the money had cleared. With my bank saying I had the balance available I proceeded to do my first assignment. Well after pulling the money out to evaluate and send money using a western union I went on with my day and then I happened to be at a job fair and the girl behind me ran a credit union and we got to talking and she told me to call my bank ASAP. I called and the girl told me to call western union and stop it ASAP. And I called and dealt with western union and they told me it had been picked up and paid out in cash and I went straight to my bank and even tho they had not been " bad" as of yet they're hands were tied. I kept saying why are the funds in the available balance if they are not available!! If the money order didn't clear the funds shouldn't be available. I had told the teller my situation and that I was nervous depositing it and she said did you give them your bank information and I said no so she said I would be fine and my bank account would be fine. Well it is In fact not fine it's -1404.00 because they used ally money and overdrew my account. Western union does not require ID to pick up funds and they give out cash. Scammers dream come true
