She has been contacting me, along with other spambots, using the same email line something like this:

"Hello,
Get back to me if you are available to lesson Melissa for two weeks,await your response to my email [email protected]
Regards."

"Is the tutor lesson still effective? we are planning to relocate here and i want my children to attend your tutorial while i am away for keeping them busy...Lisa is 16yrs while Cristian is 10yrs...So I want you to calculate the cost of 2 hours per day for three days in week for a Month and email me the total cost..get back to me at your earlier convienient time.

Thanks"

She actually sent me a check for $1950, which I deposited. I wired her the$1000 difference, but cancelled the transaction an hour later due to concerns from my boss and a manager at my company. They told me that things like this happened in the past: the buyer (Mariam) sends a huge check, the seller (me) wires the difference, and then Mariam bounces the check and takes the difference DIRECTLY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT.

I then told Mariam that I couldn't continue with lessons. Since then, she has sent 5 phonecalls from a restricted number, two emails requesting more information, and two invitations to chat over gmail. Scambook, I hope you catch her and lock her up in the Federal Pen FOREVER.
