On 09/11/2013 I received a Telephone call stating they were Microsoft Windows and that my Windows 7 licence had been cancelled.
The above gained control of my PC after some time 3 prices appeared on my screen £129 for two years maintenance. I refused to pay and was told if I didn't my pc screen would remain black, I argued for sometime saying they where blackmailing me into paying, to which they kept replying I would have an unworkable PC. I rellented and and gave my details they then rang off. Approx twenty minutes later my PC was still black. I contacted my bank to cancel payment, they said the payment had gone through. My bank statement showed a pyment of $256.61 plus an outlay $64.96 to get Pc working. Have reported this to my banks fraud dept and to Action fraud, so loss to myself is approx £200.
