We owed the IRS over $40,000 getting letters of intent to Levy, we called Pinnacle to stop the levy and Lien process, they suggested an OIC and possibly owe less than $5000.00- just a $3000.00 processing fee to stop the levy and to start negotigating with the IRS. They never kept us informed, when we would call it was always someone different and the case was always in review. In May I received a call stating that our case was closing that week and will be finalized. Never heard from them again, when our installments of $500.00 stopped in July we were excited that this huge burden was lifting. I called in August since we still haven't heard anything except another letter from the IRS that we are now delinquent and intend to Levy, they replied that the case was in review and I said no we should be done. Finally after speaking to our 5th assigned case worker she picked up the phone and said no one has touched our case but will speak with the attorney today. September 30th we call again and are told that we have one day to sign and postmark to assume our payments of $700.00 a month because I denied their request.
