I ordered plain sawn clear oak flooring material - advertised as a "special" on the Internet. I paid $3,000 as a downpayment. Material was never delivered. After phone enquiries, the seller admitted she had my money, and understood that I had received nothing in return. She claimed she was having a hard time financially, and would pay me back when possible. Subsequent efforts to contact her failed, and I am still out $3,000.
