Complaint 282396 Details

I made a purchase of Green Coffee Bean extract on August 2 from a company named on my bill as HBM Beauty Store. I received the extract and have no complaint about that purchase. However, the complaint I have results from that purchase.

The first charge of $9.97 from C2L Discount Found appeared on my credit card on 8/3/13. Then on 8/19/13 and 9/18/13 charges of $39.97 appeared. On 10/18/13 another charge of $39.97 came in from CMI Discount Dept. On September 9 I called the 877-478-6477 number about the charges and was told that I signed up for their program on August 3 (which I have no memory of doing) and there was a $100 credit on a discount program I have never located and certainly never used. No mention was made of recurring charges. (I stupidly did not insist on cancelling at that point.) I called today to confirm the purchase amount of the extract, and they agreed to cancel my account in the 'discount program'. They said I would not receive any further charges, but I would hope to have a least part of the $129.88 returned since I did not intend to sign up for any such program and never used it.
