I'm adding this to document Oracle's crooked business practices. My wife and I attended a travel seminar after receiving a promise of free airline tickets for attending. The seminar was put on by another company whose name I forgot. Regardless, we didn't sign up for the $8,000 travel package and asked for our tickets.

We did receive tickets after sending a check for $120. The ticket were so restricted as to be useless. No travel within 2 weeks of a federal holiday. There are 14 federal holidays so that eliminates more than 1/2 of the year. Must give them 3 possible departure dates (apparently, they pick 1 of the 3). The list goes on. Oracle's web site disavows responsibility of their marketers so tries to sidestep any responsibility.

I filed a complaint with the VA Attorney General and did receive a refund. I haven't cashed it yet. Will report back if it bounces. Regardless of my getting a refund, Oracle's sales process is horribly deceptive. They should be put out of business - in my opinion.

Buyer beware.
