I attempted to sign up for the Penny auction. My credit was immediately charged $99.00 that I had not authorized. Not knowing about the charge until a "thank You" email was sent to me 4 hours after I submitted the information.

Since I did not gett a confirmation email immediately, felt that the sihn-up transaction had not gone though. As I reviewed the info that I had previously entered, I was again charged $45.00 that Had not authorized.

After learning of the charges through the emails from Hotcloseouts2013 confirming my membership, I tried to contact their customer service dept by email and by using their advertised "chat Line" I have not received any contact from the company at all. The advertisement stated that the contract could be c ancelled anytime within 3 days from original sign up. I tried to do that without success.

After doing more research, I found numerous complaints about this "service" in a very short period of time, leading me to believe that this is a scam. I want my funds returned and any information concerning me in the company files removed.
