I was talking with a person I believed to be a lady. She said we could meet after verification to prove I was not a sex offender and gave me the name of this company. I forwarded money and was never verified. A long series of emails and further amounts of money were sent to them with the promise of full refund. Part of this scam was me being told that their computer system had been corrupted and I needed to send more money to ensure my refund was being sent to the right person. Then I was informed that one of their employees had committed fraud and removed many customers details and kept the money for herself, further requests for money. This just kept on and on and the lies kept getting worse. I was in so deep that I was sending more money in the belief that I would get my full refund. Even now I am getting emails from them asking for more money saying that I am owed so much that a few more hundred dollars to recover my 18,000.00 is not much.
I live in Australia.
