I thought i was purchasing an ad service to generate money on the side for a $1.00. It said my my card number would be used for conformation that i was of legal age and it would also costs $1.00. As soon i as gave my information it lead me to a page where they wanted additional fee to upgrade for $89.00. I was locked in on that page and could not go back to the previous page or move forward without purchasing an additional program. I couldnt get any contact info or do anything else on the page.
My card was charged $159.00 dollars from a website htassupp.com. I searched for the site that charged me and it was nothing like the page i was on. Eventually i found a number to try and called. I explained to them i never agreed to purchase any product for $159.00. They told me i did and had 3 days to cancel and i didnt. I argued with them that i only agreed to $1.00 and also there was not any contact information so there was no way for me to cancel in the 3 days. The person eventually hung up on me. I called back and talked to someone else and was told the samething. I ask to speak to a supervisor or someone above them and was told that they were capable of handling the situation. I persisted on speaking with a supervisor and then was told there was not one available. They were very rude and changed their storys on a couple occations.
