Email received under the cover of 'Boots', a trusted company, saying as I was an Advantage Card holder I qualify to receive free trials of various products. Agreed and was advised there would be a £2.99 delivery fee (so bank details were given). I stupidly agreed to their Terms & Conditions (without reading properly) thinking it was Boots! Item arrived within five days, not brilliant, but then noticed £89.00 was taken from my account two weeks later! Appparently in their 'small print' they advise that if product isn't returned within 14 days they will take full amount of item from account. Have advised bank, Boots (who say they never send emails like this), Trading Standards and Action Fraud. Emailed the company and they have advised that my next order would be cancelled - I definitely didn't make another order!! Unfortunately, they prey on customers trust and realise that most of us don't read the terms and condition, never again, if they think they are dealing with a decent company. DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY EMAIL IN THIS RESPECT.
