I was selling my wedding dress on craigslist and someone with a Cheryl barber email contacted me and wished to send me a check in the mail and have her "shipper" come to my house and get it after. So I accepted and when I received the check it was from a neurologist company In Rhode Island. Selling my dress for 450 and receiving 1,950 is an obvious throw off. So I didn't cash the check, instead called the company to inform them that they have someone using their name for scams, and took it to my local police. I sent them a text again and told them id like to send the check back to them and told them I no longer want to sell them the dress and I needed their name and address to send it back to them and they were quick to reply that they don't want the check back. SCAM!
