Hi there, I am from Laurel, MS & wanted to report a case of very potential wire fraud. The other party is located in Clearwater, FL. However, the business address (usabox.com) is located in Miami.

On May 6th, I contacted Brett Palmer (this appears to be a fake name) of Impact Funding LLC via Flippa.com in regards to his listing for an established website called ShieldMyIP.com.

Here is our email conversation of us starting the transaction & me sending him the money after we both signed the agreement..

As you can see he started taking much longer to reply to emails. I sent him the $4000 wire on May 10th (1 month ago).

An additional payment of $1000 was made on May 9th via squareup.com.
This amount was refunded to me on May 19th.

The transfer was made from my USAA account & the receiving account is listed in the sales agreement (Wachovia in Florida).

I looked up the Florida LLC Records & searched for "Impact Funding LLC".
One result and the name on this LLC registration at the bottom is in fact Christopher Clegg & not Brett Palmer (http://www.sunbiz.org/pdf/20495932.pdf).

A quick google search for Christopher Clegg brought up countless pages of people claiming he is a fraudulent person who ruins his reputation just to take advantage of people by playing around with loopholes. This is most likely why he is using the fake name Brett Palmer.

This immediately raised a red flag. The different names & the fact that everything seemed to be taking too long (business meeting, busy, time got wrapped up - this many excuses over 4 days). The address registered to Impact Funding LLC is an address in Miami, FL provided through the service http://usabox.com where users can rent a physical address in FL.

When the "tech guy" replied to my email (his email is [email protected]), I immediately noticed this was the same person claiming to be Brett Palmer. Same structured sentence, same excuse (http://i.min.us/jlu5PU.png). I could find no information on either email, except when I searched facebook for [email protected] which then brought up a fake facebook profile page (it even says female). It has been a month now & he still has my $4000 & he claims that he's going to be refunding it soon, but it's only been excuses from him day after day. I have reason to believe he is a scammer.

I can provide any more information at all if necessary. This has gone on for a very long time & this person shows absolutely no intent of refunding my money.
