Complaint 295010 Details

While traveling thru Newport, saw a Goody's store. The one in our area had closed, so I stopped and made a couple of purchases. While checking out was offered a couple months of 2 magazines free. Man was that a mistake, not only did they scam me and use my credit card to charge for these magazines, I was charged for 2 more. They used my credit card, if this is not credit card fraud I don't know what is. The public has enough problems with scams and you would think Goody's would be reputable, but they are no better than the crook who is stealing your info and using it for themselves. You may think I am just a complainer, but it could be anyone and I'm sure there were alot of innocent people scammed the same way. Oh and by the way, when I called the number, everytime I tried to talk to a rep. I got a busy signal and it disconnected.
