Around 9 AM this morning EST my telephone rang I did not recognize the number on caller ID so the call went to voicemail. When I heard the message the person had a heavy accent and he stated that legal action had been started against me and I should return his call to 559-238-2375, he stated if I did not return his call my life would be a legal mess. I tried calling the number several times and the number did not go through. About an hour later the gentleman called once again since it was the same number I accepted the call the gentleman (heavy accent) stated legal proceedings had been started against me. When I asked him legal action about what, he said he did not have the details. I needed to call 559-238-2375 (same number that did not go through before) and speak with Officer Russell Reed. I then called my local Police Department, they told me this is a scam do not call them back. They told me if they call back state to them that this is a known scam and you have informed your local Police Department and have provided them the name and telephone number information
