I was looking for a cloud backup provider and saw page after page of great reviews for Justcloud. However, I now believe those "reviews" were advertisements. I went to their site and got an unlimited plan and proceeded to try backing up from my external drives. Needed an upgrade. Video files needed an upgrade. Customer service has been very slow, but again I could upgrade for that (which I haven't). My first response I received when I asked them to cancel my account and refund my money (which I requested in under an hour of trying to use their service) because I was tired of being strung on and nickle and dimed (in far from negligible amounts) tried to keep me in their trap of upgrading for the smallest extra bits of functionality by giving me the video upgrade free. I since responded that I really just want to cancel and get refunded as a didn't even use their software after I realized what they were doing. Due to their support being so slow if you don't upgrade for that, the request is still pending. Having searched purposely for bad reviews for Justcloud so I wouldn't be wading through the advertisements-disguised-as-reviews, I've read others having their accounts charged for renewal after cancelling, which further solidifies in my mind that Justcloud is using these good reviews and the promise of being cheaper than the competition to lure people into a scam in which they have to pay for anything from faster-than-a-snail's-crawl speed, faster customer support, different file type backups, external drives backup, slightly larger sync folder, etc. Others I've read have been asked to upgrade to the business plan for seemingly arbitrary reasoning of exceeding a very vaguely defined "normal use".
