I was referred by, I believe AT&T Connect Tech because I had an Acer laptop. The offered 1 incident for $49 and 5 for $149. Over a period of a week I called 4 times and spent 15 hours with them (phone)while they took control of my computer and tried to troubleshoot the problem. I continually was having to re-boot the computer as it was turning Internet Explorer off. Some virus was also turning of McAfee regularly. Everytime I worked with a person, they did things and concluded the problem was fixed. Within a day or two, the same issues re-appeared. After the 4th call (It is nearly impossible to speak to a supervisor, and they cannot escalate the issue to a higher level tech. I just could not deal with having my system down for hours and having the same issue re-appear. They argued hat the problem was fixed, and refused to give a refund (I offered to the single incident price and asked for $100 back, and finally got $50 back. In essence, i lost over a week productivity and much time with them as they messed with my computer. Later, a quality technician determined that my computer had been compromised (possibly by this group) and I had to buy a new laptop.

AnswersBy is not a quality or stand up organization. They make no warranties and are difficult to work with. You never can get eh same person back and whoever you speak to is always in India. If you ask for someone in the US, they tell you it may be several hours or overnight before I would get a call back.
