I went on Craig's List for a car. I responded to an add for a 2007 Maxima for $1,800. She said she was in the military, stationed in Athens, Greece and was about to be deployed to Afghanistan and she needed to sell the car that was in storage in Fort Huachuca, AZ. She claimed to do the deal through Amazon FPS which instructed me to get a MoneyGram and send her the information to Greece. I looked on the websites and found out that it was a scam. I didn't get the MoneyGram or give the money away, but I did give them my name and address. I don't know what harm that will do.

Just keep an eye on you credit report for 12 months. Make sure no one can make 3rd party calls or collect calls from the number you gave out and - next time - do the search first :) but the utmost important thing is,
