We were contacted by Vacation Services Intrernational and their agent, Rob Hancock/636-541-1260. We were told that this was a new way to rent our timeshares on a point system. If we bought into their system for $8982.00 they would rent our timeshares through corporate raentals and pay us $.075 per point for our 160,000 points (or $12,000.00) in 180 days. Rob showed us checks that had been sent to hem and assured us that he was a member and had been receiving checks regularly for 3 years, copies of which he showed us. We checked on VSI before committing and found that they had an A- BBB rating so it looked like it was on the up and up but I put in a call to VSI and the vide president (or so she said) returned my call and assured me that RR Closing was one of their agents and was on the level.
We have received no check, cannot get RR to even answer the phone now, (877-572-2090) and VSI just shines us on saying that RR has our money and that we have to talk to them. I will try once again through VSI to get some satisfaction but any help you can give us would be appreciated. I am 69 and my wife is 66 and our fixed income cannot take a hit like this.
