I replied to an advert for a health care assistant, i was contacted by unicare by a lady called Jasmin back in december 2013, who asked me about my work experience and where i had worked etc, they sounded professional, she asked me whether i had a recurrent cpr and manual handling certificate, to which i said no, she said i have to be compliant in order for them to put me forward for jobs so i agreed to do the course being so near christmas it was so hard to fork out the 150 pounds required but i did , thinking i will have a job by the new year. i did the courses as requested , but thats when they turned cold, i was applying and calling them to be put forward for jobs and they always said they will let me know and be in contact but they never did, not only that i am still waiting for one of my certificates to come through the manual handling which i never recieved, again i called them numerous times and they said they will put it in the post but never arrived so far. these are scammers, tricking vulnerable people who need a job to get on with their lives and making them part with hard-earned money or benefits with the pretence and hope they are going to get a job, they dont have jobs. their office is not in regent street but in ilford, it is a block of offices which companies rent temporarily and theirs is only a small room they dont even want you to go in there!
