I purchase the African Mango/Metaburn Combo earlier this month on a 'free trial' basis. My credit card details were given to cover postage (which was more than they quoted, converion to US$ I guess)
The products arrived, and whilst I am not unhappy with them, I was surprised to see that $111 had been taken from my credit card on 10th Oct, fortunately I had been looking at my account online otherwise may not have seen this until the statements arrived in the post. I rang my bank and cancelled the card, but have just discovered that a further $96 was taken on the 12th Oct!!
NOT HAPPY!
About a week ago I had a jumbled call on my cellphone during the evening regarding "a weightloss programme I had signed up for?" An Asian woman, I'm not sure of the accent....very short and noisy and nonsensical conversation , then she hung up.
This evening I received a call, and had a lengthy conversation with, an Indian man (I think) who claimed to be in Auckland, New Zealand, following up on the African Mango. He repeated all my details but added Tasmania, which is in Australia, not NZ. I told him I was not happy with their processes and he offered me a refund. He went on and on assuring me that it was safe to give him my (new) credit card details. I had a bad feeling and told him so. He said all sorts of shite regarding they being the only distributor of this product throughout the world....blah blah....I asked for details of their offices in Auckland and he was vague, then after I insisted he gave me a customer care line number. I went into my Banking details to check the date of the transaction and this is when I saw a second amount had been taken. I rang the number he had given me but of course there is no such number. I went back to their website and managed to find somewhere to contact them , through email. I await their reply! This is a good product and available through many other outlets but these guys are scammers and I've been scammed! Incidentally the first withdrawal had Calorie Killers on the statement, the second had Body Organics??? I'm not sure my bank can help! Lesson learnt!
