I took over an Internet and telephone business on October 1st 2013.
The previous owner and myself went to the local Moviestar office to change the details on the 4 telephone lines and the ADSL.

This was supposedly done. Only one lines was actually changed, when the next bills were due, they took one from my account, and the other 3 from the previous owners. We told them this was wrong, reconfirmed all the details, and they said they had changed their data base. Next month (Nov)the same happened again, only the old bank account had been closed. We once again told them of this mistake, they again assured us they had the right details... Same in December... on December 23rd they cut 3 lines including my ADSL, when contacted I was told this was for non payment. They insisted I pay 188€ at the Post Office to get these lines reconnected, I did. A few days later the previous owner of the business had his Home phone line cut, the reason? they claimed he hadn't paid the same bill I had just paid. They made him pay 127€ to get reconnected, So this meant that my December bill was paid twice. Moviestar promised me a refund of this 127€ within 48 hours - it didn't arrive. They then said there had been a problem with my January bill (they had again tried to take it from the wrong account)but that they would take payment (30€) from the 127€ and refund the rest in my next bill - they didn't.
In february they finaly took the cash from the right account, only there was an extra 2 x 25€ (50€)reconnection charges and still no refund.

I have complained several times that all these extra charges etc were a direct result of their incompetence.

2 weeks ago all the lines were accinently cut by a workman, this cut the ADSL and telephones for the whole street. Moviestar were here the next day to repair these lines, only one of my lines has not been reconnected. I have complained several times, but they now claim I have an outstanding bill of 30€ from January, and the line will not be reinstated until this is settled. They have now told me that I will not be getting any refund as all my claims have been rejected.
I have had similar experiences with the old telefonica, they owe me 200€ form an overcharge on my home bill from 7 years ago, and another 156€ from a business account in October 2007 (new owner, new account but tried to take from old account) forced me to pay the October bill twice and said they would refund and didn't and what was worse every three months or so they would cut me off for not paying this bill, then reconnect me a few days later when they found I had paid - but they never updated their system.
