I received a charge on my credit card today for $24.95 from Mag Rewards Plus. I called 1-888-293-4018 and spoke with Kathy Beck who gave me a cancellation number of 12368. She said that on 01-19-2014 we purchased a hair curler and that we were offered a $50 wall mart gift card and an opportunity to join Mag Rewards. My wife had called in to order the hair curler brush and answered NO to every other question. We did not order or want any magazines. We are retired and live on a very limited income which can not include crafty scams like this. While Kathy stopped addition charges to my credit card I do not see how I have to pay for something we did not order at all. I am contacting my attorney general for help also. So good luck on getting my $24.95 back. I am also going to complain to the BBB in CT.
