We needed all of the windows in our house replaced. This comapany's ad was listed in 'TheHomeMag'and we contacted them. The company business owner Joseph Lamkin came to our home, measured windows and asked for a $3,000 down payment to order our materials. Project was supposed to be started within 4-5 weeks.

Deadline passed, and my wife got word that this company had some pretty bad reviews about taking the deposit and running. Also, his contracting license has been suspended and he asked for more than the CA legal limit for a deposit down. My wife contacted the business owner and although he was reachable, he still was not able to provide us with good references. He has delayed the installation and finally offered to pay the deposit back....after he returns from a trip to mexico....

My wife states that the owner himself seemed like a nice guy, but even a midst all that is coming out, he still has not provided any practical resolution other than words (and most likely broken promises.
