I was asked to take part in a small survey on the internet and as a thank you could choose one of three items for just cost of postage, being somewhat bored ( I usually avoid this sort of invitation like the plague) and a pensioner and not usually affording beauty products I chose the FREE sample of a skin cream from the above company. To my surprise I received two jars of cream and a bottle of toner, BUT also an invoice stating that I did not have to do anything, but that at the end of 30 days they would charge me with two sums of money and would continue to send the creams and take the costs from my bank account. It is impossible to contact the company, the phone number given tells you UNOBTAINABLE, email them and you get a standard message about returning the items and if you try to get the form for returning, the computer warns you that this is not a safe site. I intend to contact Trading standards and advise anyone who has had the same problem to contact their bank and block further payments, which is what I have done. Not a FREE sample at all, but a scam which must be stopped.Hopefully I have only lost the postage costs,but do not see why I should pay again to return the items.Date above approximate.
