On Feb 15, 2014 when I was trying to log into my Nordstrom credit card account when I saw a pop-up offering me an anniversary gift for a QnQ watch except that I have to pay the shipping charge of $5.99. It's a cheap exchange for a free watch so I signed up and provided my credit card details. On March 3 I got email and a call from Nordstrom alerting me of an unauthorized transaction in the amount of $95.00. I realized that I have been hooked into a scam because there's the unexplained condition that the watch was on a 14 day trial and if you don't cancel, you will be charged $95.00. This is highly irregular because this is now contrary to the first statement where they say it's free. Now I have to go through the trouble of disputing the charge and even risk of damaging my credit score which I tried to build over time.
Deceitful marketing strategy.
