DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY OF YOUR BANK DETAILS!!!!!
I applied online for a payday loan through a search engine. I was very quickly contacted via my mobile phone by an agent from Credit Maze. he assured me my loan had been sourced an they just needed a few final details to "release funds". He requested my debit card details amongst other personal information and proceeded to try to talk me into subscribing to a monthly fee of £8.99. At no point was I made aware of a £69.72 membership fee. When I informed him that I wasn't interested in this product his whole demeanour changed. All of a sudden I was in a queue awaiting a decision on my loan and then he advised that the department was busy and he would contact me later on once the decision had been made. I never heard from them again!I discovered that £69.72 had been debited from my account when I contacted my bank. I called Credit Maze and found their operative to be extremely rude, brash and bolshy. He was adamant that I had entered my card details on their website and refused to believe me when I told him that i hadnt. He advised me that I would only receive a part refund of £32 as the £37.62 is non refundable. I am now not only almost £40 out of pocket but their fee caused me to go over drawn for which I now have to pay charges. Suffice to say that no loan was ever received by me and I am almost £100 down just for looking. I would advise everyone to steer well clear of Credit Maze as after extensive searches online I could find no evidence of anyone who records a positive experience.
