Back on Aug 29, I purchased a couch at Bob's and charged it on my VISA card. 2 hours later the same day, I went back to Bob's decided to purchase a matching chair. Since the total of the two items was over $1400, I qualified for a no interest Bob's account for a year. A CREDIT of $1,299.39 was issued to my VISA and a total of $2,132.80 was charged to the Bob's account. A receipt for the transaction was given to me. The problem: The credit was NEVER processed so it stayed on my VISA - with interest. I have called BOB's repeatedly, and they say that YES, they screwed up and did not process the credit. However, since the furniture is delivered, there is nothing they can do. I contacted CITIBANK (where my VISA account is with) and they said there is nothing they can do.
I purchased this furniture, agreed to pay $2132.80 over a year with no interest, but this is not what I got. I have the receipt. Bob's has admitted they screwed up but are completely unwilling to process the credit to my VISA. HELP PLEASE!
