I noticed two charges on my bank account from a company called E-Date Help. I called the number associated with the charges and they said someone had used my card to create a "free" online dating account. The "free" account had a charge for almost $2.00 associated with it. They then "held" and additional almost $50.00 out of my account claiming the charge hadn't occurred yet, just making sure the first charge cleared. When I advised they were unauthorized charges they said the had canceled the account and would release the funds immediately. Still no release of funds. I called my bank who forced me to cancel my debit card and file a fraud claim and still wait at least 24-48 before the funds would be returned and wait 5-7 business days for a card. All this happened over the weekend too so no way to access my account while banks are closed! Huge nightmare!!!
