So... I listed my ad to sell my keyboard on gumtree just today. And within 2 hours I was prey to very experienced scammers!!!
At first a Martin eucole emailed me regarding my keyboard and told me he was very interested in my listing but has no time to come view the product due to his busy work schedule and the keyboard is to be sent overseas. (So I was thinking oh maybe he buys musical instruments for bands). I believed him at first cause he even asked for additional pictures since he wasn't able to come view!! I felt weird cause I was selling my keyboard at a ridiculously high price and 2 hours after my ad there's actually someone who's gonna buy it?!?! I was so shocked and excited. BUT HELL DID I KNOW. This MARTIN EUCOLE emailed me informing me that he will be using a third party shipping service "AUTO SHIPPERS INTERNATIONAL" to collect the keyboard from my house and request that I forward the shipping fee to them. He told me that he will be transferring the additional cost for shipping on top of the price for my keyboard.

His replies were so prompt. I then received 2 emails in my JUNK MAIL. PEOPLE OUT THERE PLEASE REMEMBER THAT A LEGIT PAYPAL TRANSFER WILL NOT GO TO YOUR JUNK MAIL AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION TEXT MESSAGE IF YOU LINK UP YOUR PAYPAL TO YOUR MOBILE** (everyone should go link their paypal now!!

The 2 emails I received requested I send $400 shipping fee through western union before the money that Martin transferred to me could be confirmed. The email stated- "
This is to inform you that you are required to send a sum of $400.00 AUD to the address below via Western Union Money Transfer, you are requested to email us the MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number), sender's name and address used to make the transfer. As soon as we have received these information from you, we will credit the sum of $1,350.00 AUD ( **my item was listed for 950) to your Bank account. Below is the address where the money is to be sent to using western union money transfer." BULLSHIT!!!! Then I was convinced that this is definitely a scam. I googled the shipping company and this page came up. So thank you each one of you who took time off to warn people and prevent people like me from shameless scammers I hate them!!!

** ps. I took a screenshot of similar cases and sent it to Martin eucole. I added " guess the deal's off pathetic scammers. Lots of love, T. "

Peace out people! Hope no one get scammed by these shameless people.
