Clever scammer putting pretending to be a host on just landed and then changing to "Airbnb" as its more secure. Got a credible looking info and then asked to transfer money to a UK acc. and that I would be contacted by a host in Geneva. Suddenly this host was taken ill with a 'medical emergency' and I was asked to transfer the same amount to a different host and different account directly. (which I didn't)Be careful of 'the airteam' and [email protected] They are thieves.
No help and no communication from Airbnb
No warnings from Airbnb. Very disappointing.
